Based in Leicestershire, Shaun Malin Electrical is a business on the up. Shaun has spent many years perfecting his trade with various positions in industry before deciding to start his own business in 2002. Shaun’s main area of expertise is now in heating controls, home automation, multiple boiler control, EICR’s and EV chargers and he has contributed articles on the subject for the industry press on several occasions.

People who have large houses who might use certain rooms only once or twice a week can now control, from a single portable panel, which radiators are on, when they are on and at what temperature.” Shaun estimates that a further 30-40% reduction in energy consumption can be achieved by installing such a system.

As an ambassador for technology in his own industry you can imagine that Shaun’s appetite for making sure his own tech is in working order is high. “Access to information is key for me” explains Shaun, “more than ever before I need to be able to react to whatever is thrown and at me there and then. Waiting until I get back to the office very often is not an option”.

After another business set up Shaun Malin's email, the solution wasn't working. We quickly diagnosed that they actually had 2 accounts and neither were making use of any of the facilities in Office 365 to forward emails. They would miss emails because their phones were using a different account to my PC.
